Family Letters by email

In the future, Ylönen family letters will be sent by email to those members who have informed their email address to the family society. Make sure you keep us updated if your email address changes. Raija Ylönen keeps the addresses of the Ylönen Family Society members.

Sukukokous 20.6.2010 Pieksämäellä Pöyhölän pappilassa

Vanha pappila muodosti loistavat raamit sukukokoukselle. Kahvitus ja ruokailu oli järjestetty pappilarakennuksen sisätiloihin. Kokous ohjelmineen pidettiin vanhasta navetasta kunnostetussa jykevässä sivurakennuksessa.

Map of the lands owned by the first known Ylönen

Our genealogy researcher  has studied the land property owned by the family Ylönen. He has marked the property owned by the Ylönen family in 1560  on todays basic maps of the area. It is interesting to see that the land property is lined up on the water routes: lakes. In those days there were no other ways to move except on the lakes.
